More Summer Fun

A day at Buckeye lake with friends from the babysitter's. The place was absolutely disgusting with goose poop everywhere, but the kids had fun. AJ went promptly into the tub when we got home.

AJ colored all over himself and then told me he was a snake. VERY creative!

We visited the Limbacher's in Cincy this past weekend and had a very relaxing, enjoyable time in their pool. AJ was all about the diving board, and jumped right off. He even tried imitating the way the big guys jumped.

Heidi loves her little cousin and is quite the little helper/mommy. Anna loves her too!

Anna vs. The Rice Cereal

The food experiment has begun. We tested out a little rice cereal last week and this is how it went...

"Here mom, let me help you with that."
"Hmm, this stuff might be okay."

"No, I changed my mind. I DON'T like it!"

We continue to eat a little each day, and I am no longer getting these looks!

One Afternoon...

... AJ decided to "paint" on the carpet. Luckily, Crayola makes a VERY washable paint, and AJ did help me clean it up. I actually had to laugh in another room before I could talk serious to him about it. Oh, the joys of having kids!

Anna had her 4 month check-up a couple of weeks ago, and she was reported as being strong and healthy! She was just over 14 lbs. (60%) and 25 inches long (80%), so she's tall like her brother. AJ picked out her sticker when we were done (Bumblebee from Transformers) and insisted that she wear it. Here she is passed out after her shots with her sticker. Anna is busy exploring what she can do... she rolls over, talks ALL the time -including a high-pitched screechy noise, grabs for toys, and tries to eat her feet (a favorite activity). She watches AJ all of the time and laughs out loud when tickled or held up in the air (her laugh is so, so sweet). She definitely likes attention, and lets you know about it when she isn't getting enough. She's my cuddle-bug and VERY happy!

Here is another home photo shoot I did with her at the end of July. She loves chewing on her fingers, but takes a "bink" when she's tired or really wants to suck.
