Christmas 2010
The weekend after Thanksgiving the tree went up. AJ helped by handing daddy the branches.
Anna wanted to help too!
She also wanted to help with the ornaments by tearing the paper towels they were wrapped in to shreds.
AJ was very good at hanging the oranaments this year. He would look for just the right spot for each one, and only a couple of branches had multiple ornaments this year :)!
We went to visit Santa when he made a visit to Pickerington's Library, and what would you know,he brought a couple of baby "reindeers" with him. They were right outside the window that the Santa line walked by, and it was really something to see.
AJ wanted nothing to do with Santa's lap, but we did end up getting back in line when he realized that he hadn't told Santa what he wanted and was quite fearful that Santa wouldn't bring him his presents. So, after we got to Santa again, AJ mumbled out what he wanted, but then became quite distraught when Santa didn't immediately pull his gifts out of his bag right then and there. It was quite the learning experience for him as we explained how Santa has to go back to the North Pole so that the elves can make his gifts.

Anna wasn't quite so sure about the big guy herself, but at least we got the picture!
Family photo op. after visiting Santa.
Santa should have brought Anna balloons for Christmas. She was enthralled with this one when we went out to eat one advent Sunday after church.
Christmas Even at the Glandon's... Anna being entertained by Uncle Mark as we all have been!
AJ being entertained by the farting piggy bank won by Aunt Connie in the Chineses gift exchange. Thanks Aunt Beth!
While the children were nestled all snug in their beds... SANTA ARRIVED!
As AJ came down the stairs Christmas morning he exclaimed, "HOLY COW!" Here we are opening stockings.
Nuge enjoying his Christmas treats as well!
I love this expression on Anna's face.
Aunt Barbie - The kids LOVE the toys you got them. Anna absolutely cracks up!
Anna opening her very first Cabbage Patch Doll.
AJ opening his car city.
Anna at Grandma and Grandpa Glandon's Christmas morning. The colorful bags were her favorite.
AJ spying on us all with his new periscope (I think that's what it's called). He got an assortment of tools to go exploring with during his days with Grandma and Grandpa.
AJ enjoying his Handy Manny construction set from Aunt Angie. There's nothing like being ALLOWED to wreck your toys!
AJ and Anna with Grandma and Grandpa.
And now with Uncle Eric!
We headed over to the Sauer's during the evening on Christmas day, where more gift opening commenced.
Anna and daddy surrounded by our gifts!
AJ and Heidi exploring AJ's new rocket.
Heidi showing Anna how to play with her new kitchen.
Anna with her Papaw!
The next generation axiously waiting for their gifts at the Engle Christmas.
Anna's room is now stocked with her own toys. Here she is getting into some of her new Christmas toys.

Fall Highlights
I seriously cannot believe that it's been 4 months since my last post. Not sure where the past 4 months have gone, but here's what we've been doing...
We had two weddings to go to this fall. The first was for a very good friend of mine from work. Brian and I left the kids with the grandparents and had a date night. Congratulations again to Lauren and John! We had a GREAT time!
That's right... Anna sucks her toes, not her thumbs! HeHe! She usually sticks to the bink anymore!
We had a wonderful trip to the Hocking Hills with some of the McLaughlin clan. Here's Uncle Mark and Uncle Ken by the dried up "bathtub" (can remember what they actually call it).
Enjoying the hike.
Aunt Sue with Anna. This was the first time they met!
Uncle Mark, Emma and Aunt Beth hangin' out in the Old Man's Cave.
AJ posing? What?
Ah yes... AJ in my new boots. Too cute not to take a picture of, but practically threatened him about not wearing them again.
The Hyun's made a visit in September. Here's my little nephew Evan charming us all!
The daily wrestling match.
Grandma Bonnie with her two little princesses.
Heidi and AJ waiting for the Labor Day parade to start.
Ryan's waiting too with Mamaw and Papaw.
While everyone else putt-putted, Angie and I held the sleeping babies.
AJ showing the big boys how it's done.
Annual trip to the pumpkin patch and the traditional growth chart picture.
Anna's first!
Down on the farm...
AJ and Daddy with the perfect pumpkin!
Lovin' the tractor ride and the 80 degree temperatures!
This was AJ's first year to go in the maze and he absolutely LOVED it! We had a hard time keeping track of him.
Nothing beats riding on a John Deer!
I hate when I do this... accidently delete a picture and there's no way that I know of to insert it back where I want it. Sorry, Uncle Eric... it was the cute one of you and Darth Vadar.

Sorry, Uncle Eric... it was the cute one of you and Darth Vadar.Halloween... and odd combination. My little froggy and Darth Vadar. AJ had talked for a month about being Woody from Toy Story, but just had to have the Vadar outfit once we were in the Halloween store.
Darth Vadar and Yoda (my friend's son Gavin).
Our second wedding that we went to was for Brian's cousin Megan. AJ was the ring bearer and his cousin Sammy was the flower girl. They were WAY TOO cute, and best buds once they walked down the aisle together at the rehearsal.
More to AJ's true form in regards to picture cooperation.
Was hoping to get a really nice family photo, but just couldn't quite get Anna on board.
Sticking to tradition... cake IN the face! Way to go Megan!
All 6 Engle siblings: Cindy, Rose, Ruth, Judy, Frank and David.
Heidi and AJ and the slow dance. So cute, but only because they're 3 and 4!
Anna's baby blessing. Yes, all the kids were on stage with us. It was chaotic, but wonderful. Thanks mom for such a special gift you were able to give to Anna and all of us!
Anna's first bite of pumpkin pie with whipped cream! YUM!
We had the kids baptized at St. Pius X with Heidi and Ryan, which was a special and wonderful moment for all of us. The Deacon did an amazing job with the entire ceremony.

AHH, I did it again... deleted a picture. Blogger seriously needs an "undo" button.
For Thanksgiving break, we headed out to Virginia to visit the Hyun's. Mom, Dad, and Eric went too! Megan rarely smiles for pictures, but somehow I captured this ADORABLE one with her and Anna.
